Though not necessarily my normal fare in regards to reviewing programs, I am going to talk about a very good ready made script for those that are looking to start their own web directory. PHP Link Directory is probably the most popular script going at the moment and for a good reason. PHPLD has by far the largest number of free templates and MODs to increase the functionality of your directory out there, not to mention the number of developers available that can whip up a custom template for your site.

I have been using this script on 2 sites myself, Super Link Directory and Canistota Software Web Directory for several months now and have been quite impressed with it's features...
